Adako Jachie Library

The Adako Jachie Campus of Kumasi Technical University, located off the Kumasi-Accra road near Ejisu, is home to a growing network of libraries that support the academic and research needs of the university community.

Situated on the ground floor of the East Wing of the FBNE Building, is the main campus library serving two faculties: the Faculty of Built and Natural Environment (FBNE) and the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (FEED). This library continues to provide vital resources and services in disciplines such as Building Technology, Estate Management, Interior Decoration, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Agribusiness. It offers a conducive environment for learning, research, and academic collaboration.

Located on the first floor of the East Wing of the FBNE Building is the Research Commons, a unit of the Campus Library. It is designed to support postgraduate research and advanced academic work by providing a quiet, resource-rich space for focused study and scholarly engagement.

With the recent establishment of the Faculty of Creative Art and Technology (FCAT) at the Adako Jachie Campus, an additional library has been created to support this new faculty. The FCAT Library is dedicated to fostering creativity and innovation by providing access to relevant resources in the creative arts, design, and technology fields. It complements the existing library infrastructure by expanding academic support services to a wider range of disciplines. It is located on the West Wing of the first two floors of the newly built FCAT Building.
